Luyanda Mpahlwa

Luyanda is a founder of Design Space Africa architects. He has completed several high profile projects, including the South African embassy in Berlin. Apart from serving on various planning and advisory boards in Cape Town, he is also a member of the Council of the University of Cape Town. Recently, he served on the technical advisory committee for the FIFA 2010 World Cup local organizing committee.

Ulrich Kossack

Ulrich brings 30 years experience in commercial administration of mechanical engineering and construction projects in power generation, petrochemical, water treatment , telecommunication and facility management. He has managed several large projects in South Africa, including the Kendal Power Station Indirect Dry cooling System (400 Mio €) , Majuba wt cooling (140 Mio €), the Saldanha Steel Water treatment plant, various Sasol conversions and shut-downs. He also consults during the acquisition of major component subcontracts (Boiler pressure part manufacture, Feedheating system, airheater, PJFF for Medupi and Kusile and Aircooled Condenser Kusile).

Henry F Herring

PrEng: MScEng, BScEng, FSAICE

Henry is a co-founder of Aki consulting engineers. He has completed many successful structural and civil engineering projects including the CTICC; Cape Town, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and the Investec Corporate offices - Cape Town. Currently he serves on the Aurecon (Pty) Ltd board of directors where he continues to contribute to African engineering projects such as the R300million Vangate City mixed use precinct and the R150 million Century City BMW Franchise.

Claus-Peter Jessen

Claus is a project developer based in Sylt, Northern Germany. Since 2005 he has been partially resident in Cape Town, where he has been pursuing the development of wind energy.
